Congratulations to T3’s September Athlete of the Month, Jillian Richards! Jillian joined the T3 Junior team the Summer of 2021, and has worked at honing her triathlon skills ever since. She has improved her times for the VT Sun Triathlon every time she has raced it. This Fall, she will be attending American International College, where she will be among the growing number of women to compete in NCAA triathlon.

A:   My name is Jillian Richards and I live in Corinth NY.

A:   I am 17 Years old.

A:   I attended Corinth High School.

A:   My favorite subject was Government.

A:   This summer was my second year with the T3 junior program, coached by Tim

A:   At a young age I would always watch my dad do triathlons, it was something that had my interest, When I was 5 I did my first triathlon (distanced specifically for young kids). I did my first sprint Distance triathlon when I was 12.

A:   I was on the Cross Country and Track team for Corinth.

A:   My goals this season are to just to overall improve. I would also like to perform well at Nationals in November.

A:   I would like to complete an Ironman, and just continue to do triathlons to stay in shape.

A:   I would say if you were interested in doing a triathlon you should get yourself on a good training schedule and try one when you’re ready, I think most people enjoy the feeling this sport gives you when you complete a triathlon.

A:   I am attending American International College, and am on the triathlon team for AIC, studying Athletic Administration and Leadership.

A:   My favorite workout is going to the track and running a ladder workout.

A:   I am grateful to be a part T3 juniors, it is a great group of people with great coaches and has helped me so much in the sport I triathlons!
