Registration ::

Refund Policy :: There is NO refund policy for this event. The event will be canceled if there is thunder or lightning during the clinic.

Parking :: Please park in the designated parking lot closest to beach. Please note: all participants will still be required to pay an entrance fee or have an Empire Pass.

Restrooms :: There are restrooms available on site.

Kevin Crossman :: Founder of T3 Coaching. USAT Certified Coach. Varsity Swim Coach at Glens Falls High School. 3x USAT All-American. Kevin has competed in all distances of triathlon, once qualifying for Kona and twice for the Best of the US Amateur Competition.




Gary Crossman :: Has been coaching for 17 years at all age levels.  From club, to modified, to varsity, up to adults…Gary has a knack for working with individuals hoping to improve their swimming.   Gary has helped Coach Kevin run clinics for the past 8 years.





Josh Muldner :: 13x All-American in Swimming for SUNY Geneseo. Ironman Lake Placid finisher. Current Saratoga Springs Girls Varsity Swim Coach.




Ted Snyder :: Current Ballston Spa Girls Swim Coach. Has worked with triathletes for multiple years. Coached all levels of swimming, from Club Coaching to College.

Presentation of Clinic ::

The following skills will be presented by the Outstanding Coaching Staff:
In groups of 10, you will spend ~30 mins with each coach, working on a specific area of OWS.
  • Mechanics – specific techniques to swimming that may be different for OWS than pool swimming
  • Drafting – Learn the best way to draft and practice
  • Sighting – Learn multiple techniques that will have you sighting better than ever, and keep you moving
  • Overcoming Anxiety – develop strategies to keep you calm and comfortable.  Seaweed, fish, waves, crowdedness, cold water, dark (can’t see) water, sun glare, leaking goggles, struck by another swimmer, etc...
  • Starts & Exiting – learn the techniques to quicker starts (whether treading water, standing, or running). Learn the best way to exit (run, dolphin, swim, etc...)
  • Turning/Cornering Buoys – Do you bend, spiral, glide???
  • THE CLINIC WILL CONCLUDE with a short Open Water Swim as a group.
